Biography
Dmitry Yashnikov is a Managing Director at OMERS Capital Markets, leading the Alternative Capital Solutions strategy out of London, UK. Dmitry’s investing background lies in direct infrastructure investments, both at OMERS and in investment banking.
Dmitry leads a cross-border team focusing on originating and executing opportunities to invest in leading listed and private businesses active across the decarbonisation, automation and cleantech. Within this strategy OMERS seeks to provide patient capital (both equity and debt) to fund next stages of growth or specific projects of these companies over time.
Prior to OMERS Capital Markets Dmitry was part of OMERS Infrastructure and executed on multiple acquisitions across the utilities and transportation sectors as well as leading on financing and lender relationships in Europe. Prior to that he was a member of Citigroup's Transportation and Infrastructure M&A team.
Dmitry holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics from the London School of Economics.
